You gave the test, you came home, and now you are refreshing your phone every ten minutes asking the same question: “NTS ka result kab aayega, aur check kahan karna hai?” I know the feeling. And the internet does not help, because every second website shows a different “official link”, a different date, and a button that opens ten ads before it opens anything useful.
So here is the simple, honest guide, written like I would explain it to a friend sitting next to me.
The short version: NTS (National Testing Service) publishes results test by test on its own website, nts.org.pk. You open the results section, pick your test, and enter your CNIC or roll number. That is it. No fee, no agent, no “special link”.

How to Check Your NTS Result 2026 (Step by Step)
Here is the process as described in recent guides, and it matches how most people find their results:
- Open the official website: www.nts.org.pk.
- Go to Results and Answer Keys.
- Find your test or project title in the list. NTS runs many tests at the same time, so pick the exact one you gave.
- Choose how you want to search: CNIC or Roll Number.
- Type your 13-digit CNIC without dashes, or your roll number exactly as printed on your slip.
- Enter the verification code shown on the screen.
- Your result or marks sheet will appear. Take a screenshot or download it.
A small tip: if the page does not load, do not panic. Result pages get very busy right after an announcement. Try again after an hour or on a different browser.
Roll Number Slip vs Result – Do Not Mix Them Up
| Stage | Where to Look |
|---|---|
| Roll number slip | Under List of Candidates on nts.org.pk, a few days before the test. Search with your CNIC or passport number and the code shown. |
| Answer key | Under Results and Answer Keys, for tests that publish one |
| Result | Under Results and Answer Keys, search by roll number or CNIC |
If you lost your roll number, your CNIC is usually enough.
Types of NTS Tests and How Long Results Take
| Test | What It Is | Good to Know |
|---|---|---|
| NAT (National Aptitude Test) | For undergraduate admissions to NTS-affiliated universities | Held several times a year. Scores are valid for 1 year. Reported schedules show results about a week to ten days after the test. |
| GAT (Graduate Assessment Test) | For MS and MPhil admissions | Held several times a year. Scores are reported as valid for 2 years. |
| Job and recruitment tests | Conducted for government and private organizations | The hiring organization decides the final merit list and interview dates |
| Scholarship and admission tests | Conducted for universities and programs | Each university announces its own merit list |
Example from 2026: the NAT 2026-VII was reported as being held on 12 July 2026, with the result announced on 21 July 2026. Different websites show different NAT dates, so always confirm from the official site.
What Is the Latest NTS Result?
I could not confirm one specific result announced this week. NTS posts results test by test, so there is no single “NTS result” for everyone. Open the results page and look for the exact name of the test you gave. If you do not see it yet, it has probably not been published.
Answer Key and Merit List – What Do They Mean?
- Answer key: For some tests, NTS releases the answer key before the final result, so you can estimate your marks.
- Merit list: For admission and job tests, the merit list is usually prepared by the university or hiring organization, based on your score. Passing the NTS test does not automatically mean you are selected.
- Interview or next stage: If your test was for a job, the organization will announce interview schedules separately.
Common Problems and Quick Fixes
| Problem | What to Try |
|---|---|
| “Result not found” | Check that you selected the right test and typed the CNIC without dashes |
| Wrong roll number | Look at your roll number slip, or search by CNIC instead |
| Page not loading | Try again later or use a different browser or device |
| Result not published yet | Wait. Results come test by test |
| Marks look wrong | Use NTS’s official query window on its website and contact them with your details |
Beware of Fake Result Websites
Some random pages claim “NTS result by name” or ask you to join a WhatsApp group or pay a small fee to see your marks. Do not do it. Only nts.org.pk is the real source. Never share your CNIC, bank details or OTP with anyone claiming to give you results.
